《麻醉風暴》是導演蕭力修的首部電視劇作品，劇集內容包括醫療糾紛、醫師過勞、醫院成本控管、醫院評鑑、醫療人球和校園霸凌等，除了醫療之外，蕭力修亦在劇中加入推理情節，藉此反映出人性的黑暗並以此讓觀眾「一起思考生命的核心價值」。此外他還想藉由《麻醉風暴》表達即使身處不完美的體制、即使面對現實，也不能失去天真的心。

“Wake Up” is Aozaru Shiao’s first TV series. The series talks about medical disputes, overworked doctors, hospital’s budget management, school bullying among others. Apart from the medical theme, the director’s plot is also about reasoning. It reflects dark characters and lets the audience think about life’s core values. The TV series also shows an imperfect system, how it deals with reality, and how one should not lose one’s faith in humanity.
